  • We are not making progress on our research paper quite as quickly as expected.  Note the change in intermediate and final report due dates listed.  Renaissance Day will still be held on Friday and posters will still be due on Friday.
  • Work on and complete Rough Draft of "Accomplishment" Paragraph
  • HOMEWORK-Work on Poster.  Remember to include your Renaissance person's name, pictures of your person, a timeline of his/her life, and bullet accomplishments.

Tuesday- 3/10/09

  • Work on and complete Rough Draft of "Impact" Paragraph
  • Revision and Editing
  • HOMEWORK-Work on Poster

Wednesday- 3/11/09

  • Finish Revision/Editing

Grade 7 Language Arts-Week of March 2nd

Monday- 3/2/09

  • You will have today and tomorrow and possibly Wednesday for taking notes.  After that, we will begin to write a rough draft.  If you do not think 3 days in class will be enough time to take all the necessary notes, you will want to consider taking notes at home to stay on schedule.  Remember you can start working on your poster at any time.  It will also be due on March 13th when your paper is due.  The poster is to be done solely at home, so pace yourself.  You have two weeks.
  • Continue taking notes on note cards using the sources you have collected
  • Remember that your notes should follow the outline porvided: background, achievements, impact
  • HOMEWORK-Take notes if you need to; Poster?

Tuesday- 3/3/09

  • Early Dismissal today at 2:15!  We will follow a modified schedule with shortened class periods.
