Tuesday, April 22:  Recognizing independent clauses - packet (page 1 and 2); Homework:  workbook pages 65 and 66.

Wed., April 23:     Read "Stray"  (p.18-22) in Literataure book; answer questions on page 22 (#1-6) in complete sentences. Complete for homework.

Thurs., April 24:    Discuss theme from "Stray."  Have students write an essay about what they would do if they found a lost dog.

Friday, April 25:    Complete rough and final draft of "Stray" essay; No homework.
