PLEASE BE AWARE THAT ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 31st, you will have a quiz over the material on Canada. Then on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 2nd, you will have the final test on Canada.
All of the material on Canada is in the textbook from pages 289-317. Directions on how to access the textbook is at the top of this blog.
MONDAY, JANUARY 23rd:
We learned about the Inuit today. (Textbook: pages 300-304)
TUESDAY, JANUARY 24th:
Be sure you have completed your Entry 5 journal entry.
Journal question 1: Describe at least two environmental problems that Canada could have. Explain.
Journal question 2: What problems could changes in climate cause the Arctic?
Also, complete your notes for pages 298-299 and 302-304.
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 25th:
Try to find some information about the Algonquins and the Iroquois considered to be the First Nations in Canada.
Also, you need to finish labeling and coloring your regions map of Canada.
THURSDAY, JANUARY 26th:
Read pages 307-309 in your textbook. Finish the last two questions, numbers four and five, on your practice sheet. Also, I will collect the information you find about the two tribes on Friday.
FRIDAY, JANUARY 27th:
Information on Algonquins and Iroquois will be collected on Monday. Please see me, if you have a problem.
