week of 3/27 - 4/1

Monday: short class period...last CRCT (Social Studies) review conflict in class

Tuesday: homework due Friday: Interview 2 people regarding conflict. Use the planner worksheet given out in class. (5th period only) Quiz on conflict Friday!

Wednesday: Share essays on conflict in class. Be sure to wear your Olympic shirt tomorrow...don't forget the sunscreen application before you come to school tomorrow!

Thursday: 6th grade OLYMPICS...bring your interviews to class tomorrow!

Friday: Conflict quiz (5th period)

Thursday: Classwork: CRCT Coach review in class, study for pronoun assessment tomorrow! No other homework.

Friday: Share essays, check Coach review, assessment on pronouns

Monday: Teacher workday

Tuesday: Quiz on adjectives. Complete adjective activity that we started in class on Friday. No homework if you finished the activity in class!

Wednesday: CRCT review and work on outstanding projects: Candy Bar Adjectives, Childhood memory description essay of object brought to class, and the Hero essay.

Thursday: Using adjectives to compare. Homework: Page 124 and 126 in workbook.

Friday: Check homework. Describe a room at home, possibly your bedroom, with 20 adjectives. Draw a picture of the same room. We will post drawings and read our descriptions aloud to see how well they match!

Monday: Adjective introduction in class. Homework: Bring an item from your childhood to class tomorrow.

Tuesday: Music adjective activity.

Wednesday: Complete adjective essay. Homework: p.23 in workbook. Quiz will be Friday.

Thursday: Homework: p. 26 in workbook. Study p. 23-25 and Writing/grammar text p. 328-335.

Friday: Quiz on adjectives, transitive and intransitive articles, and proper adjectives.

Wednesday: EARLY RELEASE! review homework, Begin "hero" essay. No homework.

Thursday: Complete "hero" essay in class. Predicate noun and predicate adjective quiz tomorrow.

Friday: Quiz: PN/PA.
