Start of School

We are looking forward to the start of school next week.  We will have alot going on in the first month of school so be on the look out for information on the annual fundraiser-starts August 25, 8th Grade Disney Trip-$200 deposit due on or before August 30, All-State and Honor Chorus information for 7th and 8th grade students,and a host of other exciting events.  Please make sure that you complete the student information request that you will recieve via email and a link on paper as well.  Looking forward to another great year.  Thanks for all of your support!

Upcoming Spring Concerts

All of these dates are the same from the beginning of the year.  Students should arrive on their concert day at 6:30pm dressed in their COMPLETE uniform-this means khaki pants-NOT SHORTS, the Dodgen light blue polo shirt, and dark shoes (NO TENNIS SHOES PLEASE.)  Girls should have their hair pulled back with no bows-unless they are small and match their hair color.

7th Grade Chorus-Thursday, May 12 @ 7:00pm

6th Grade Chorus- Monday, May 16 @ 7:00pm

8th Grade Chorus- Tuesday, May 17 @ 7:00pm

Festival Information-PLEASE READ!

We originally had March 8 and 9 as our Large Group Performance Evaluation but those dates have been changed to March 14 and 15.  Please read the letter below for your chorus student so that you are fully aware of our dates and times.  Please email Mr. Whitt or Ms. Joyner if you are willing to chaperone for this trip.

Panther Preview Rehearsal!!

The Panther Preview Ensemble WILL meet Tuesday, January 18 at 8:15 in the chorus room for our first rehearsal.  Please make sure you have your music (in the dark blue folder) and a pencil with you!

DISNEY UPDATE WEDNESDAY!!!!!! New Dates

OK :)
We are going to postpone this trip due to the issues with travel and school being cancelled.  I know that some have had lots of questions but you have all been very patient while we have tried to make the best call for all of our safety and for preserving everyone's financial investment into this trip.
NEW TRIP DATES:
Our Itinerary will look identical to what we had in place, however, we will leave on Thursday, January 27th in the PM and return on Sunday, January 30th at 10PM.  PLEASE NOTE that we do no have Monday off as we did for this trip and students will need to be at school on Monday.  I know what you are thinking, my child will be tired and this is going to be hard...well blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.

Thank you for giving my the time to make the best decision for all of us involved.  If you have a problem with this weekend, you need to let me know ASAP.
