This will be an important week for our research project. Drafts of your research paper must be completed prior to Tuesday as we will be doing peer editing. A peer editing sheet will be used to guide students in class. We have dedicated three days in the computer lab to publish our research papers. If your time is used wisely, there shouldn't be a need to complete anything at home. A flash drive is highly recommended in case you aren't able to finish this by the end of class Friday. All research papers are due on February 27th. Here is our schedule for this shortened week:
MON. No school - Presidents' Day
TUE. Completed drafts are due today, Peer Editing Process Download Peer Editing – Research Paper HW: make revisions to your paper if necessary
WED. Publishing in the computer lab. You must have your draft, outline, and all cards HW: none
THU. Publishing in the computer lab. You must have your draft, outline, and all cards HW: bring your flash drive Publishing Checklist: Download Publishing Checklist
FRI. Last day to publish in the computer lab. Create Work Cited Page Example: Download Work Cited Example Final copies may be printed in the lab or at home, but all research papers are due on Monday. They must be submitted in the following order (from top to bottom) RUBRIC Download RESEARCH RUBRIC NEW1, FINAL COPY - WORK CITED PAGE - DRAFT. Do not put these papers in any type of report cover. Simply staple and turn in at the beginning of class Monday. HW: prepare papers to turn in if necessary
