This week we will be focusing strictly on drafting of our research paper. Last week students collected information about their famous Renaissance figure. We also completed drafting the introduction and began drafting the body of the paper. You must stay caught up with the drafting process this week in order to complete the paper by the due date. The due date for the final paper is this Friday, March 18th. Your Renaissance Research packet will be helpful. Here is the schedule for the week along with important information.
Order to submit paper from top to bottom: rubric, final typed copy, work cited page, draft
MON. Complete draft of accomplishments. This consists of one paragraph per accomplishment. Typical the accomplishment section of the paper ranges from 5 to 10 paragraphs HW: complete draft of 2-3 paragraphs in the accomplishment section
TUE. Complete draft of last 2-3 paragraphs of accomplishments and impact on society section (conclusion). HW: complete impact on society section if necessary - ENTIRE DRAFT MUST BE COMPLETED BY TOMORROW
WED. Peer-editing of draft HW: Type final copy of research paper following the format provided in your Renaissance Packet
THU. Review Renaissance Day requirements, preparations HW: Type work cited page, organize papers to be turned in tomorrow (from top to bottom) RUBRIC, FINAL TYPED COPY, WORK CITED, DRAFT ***you will also need to bring a digital copy of your paper on a flash drive or e-mail it to me as an attachment
