May 5-May 9 Language Arts Assignments

    This week we will continue studying Greek mythology.  We will be completing a technical writing piece, also.  The technical writing involves creating a resume.  The twist is that each student will choose a new, unique Greek god/goddess to become in order to create a resume for a job.  Details and a rubric will be given in class and a final copy of the resume will be due on Wednesday.  Here's the schedule:

MON.    Create your own Greek god/goddess.  Begin a draft of your god's or goddess's resume.  We will show examples in class or one can be downloaded below.  Be sure to follow the resume outline listed below.  HW: none

TUES.      Continue work on Greek mythological resume.  Create 10 questions to ask a classmate who is applying for a job.  We will have examples in class.  HW: type your resume and type or write your 10 questions

WED.       Typed resume due, Interview a partner that has prepared a resume using your 10 interview questions HW: none

THU.    View Greek Mythology Movie

FRI.       Continue Greek Mythology Movie
