MR. S needs your help.

If anyone would be interested in looking after the two classroom bearded dragons over the summer please talk to me in class in the next two weeks.  I will be traveling out of town for about three weeks at the end of June and early July for my wedding in Boulder, CO.  We can't take the lizards with us on our journey and we need someone to help look after them for the summer.  I would provide you with everything you need, instructions for feeding and care, and money for fresh food.  Please talk to me if you would like to lizard sit.

Thanks

CRCT HAS STARTED

Hello Parents,

With CRCT comes a new schedule and 7th grade does not each lunch until 1:15 instead of the usual 11:10.  I know that students will have a hard time making it to the 1:15 time with out a snack.  Please send something for them to snack on before they go to lunch.

Also all cell phones must be turned off and in the students back pack during the entire testing period.  Unless the phone is a necessity please consider leaving it at home during the testing day.  Thanks so much.

Reading Poster Rubric

Students are working on a running poster that illustrates some of the anatomical themes we observed in an article we read called "Born to Run".  Attached is the rubric for the project that they will be working on in class.  If Students print the rubric and get a parent signature they will get 5 extra credit points.

CRCT Survivor Daily Ticket

Hello Students and Parents,

As the CRCT approaches fast the 7th Grade Science team has developed a review that we do the week before the students take the test.  Students will be divided into tribes and compete in challenges each day in a different science teachers classroom.  In order to prepare for each day in the teachers room students need to complete the Daily Ticket.  Students have a choice of making some graphic organizer or study tool for the list of vocabulary words on the attachment below.  We will discuss this in class on Monday and students need to be working on it.  The due dates for each set of vocabulary are located on the attachment.
