Welcome

Welcome back Panthers!  I am new to Dodgen and to the teaching profession, and I cannot wait to begin exploring Africa, Asia, and the Middle East with you this year.  We are taking the Dr. Bennett challenge: examining what 7th grade students need to know in order to understand the modern world.  Parents, I invite you to come to the classroom and share any experiences or information that you may have pertaining to these areas.

I will update this blog weekly with the topics, activities, and homework for the week -- please check this site frequently.

Looking forward to a great 2008-2009 school year.  "Swifter, Higher, Stronger"
