We continued Systems of equations using the Elimination method. 

Upcoming - test this Friday (May 15) on the three methods to solve systems of equations.

6th Grade Reading

We continue the Shipwrecked Journey. 

6th Grade Math

Today through Wednesday we are working on class projects.  The students chose one of the two activities linked here.  You can change to the other one tomorrow only.  Either one will count as a quiz grade.

Today we'll continue Systems of Equations using the elimination method.

Tomorrow will be a silent reading period.  Bring a book you are currently reading.

6th Grade Math

Today we introduced division of integers, similar to the rules for multiplication of integers.  We also had more practice with  addition and subtraction of negative integers.

NOTE - Test this Thursday on all quadrants in a coordinate plane and all operations with integers (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division).  In the textbook, see chapters 11-3, 11-4, 11-5, 11-6, 11-7 

Study session - my usual Wednesday session is on tomorrow, from 4:20-5:15.
