Welcome to Business!

This course is designed to help students master skills in the areas of keyboarding, word processing, database management, spreadsheet, desktop publishing, presentation applications, Internet safety and usage.  In the eight grade we will explore career choices for our personality traits and interests.

6th Grade

Week 5 &6     April 20 – May 1      Fifth and Sixth Week of the last 9 weeks!

Due to CRCT’s and Olympics we will either not meet or have shortened classes

Weekly assignments:

  • Students need to have their Timed Writing folder by April 29
  • Keyboarding – lessons 17-20

Students are encouraged to practice their keyboarding every night for 20 min.  Keyboarding is a skill that needs practice to become proficient.  The county provides the following practice program for students…  http://www.sense-lang.org/typing/

Students will learn the correct way to type using the touch type method (learning to type without looking at their hands).

7th Grade
